What is Rehabilitation Care

Individually paced recovery in a fully supported setting.

For older people recovering from a stroke, surgery, a fall or serious illness, Woodlands offers structured rehabilitation support within a comfortable, fully staffed nursing home environment. Rather than rushing the process, we support each resident to set and work towards realistic goals - with qualified nursing cover, mobility support and regular progress reviews involving the resident, their family and their NHS team.

  • Individually paced, goal-oriented recovery programmes
  • Qualified nursing support throughout the rehabilitation stay
  • Mobility support and liaison with NHS physiotherapy teams
  • Regular progress reviews with families and healthcare professionals
  • Option to transition into long-term care if appropriate
  • Suitable as step-down from hospital discharge
